Asus Launches Wireless RT-N16 Router

Earlier this week ASUS announced a new router. The key to marketing strategy is that this router is to combine performance with simplicity and security. The RT-N16 features 802.11n Draft with three antennas, which theoretically allows it to reach speeds up to 300 Mbps.

According to ASUS, the device contains a powerful processor and 128 MB of DDR2 memory, which should prevent perceptible latency even under high load. The network provides 64/128-bit WEP, WPA/WPA2-PSK or enterprise, or with a radius 802.1x. There is also support for WPS, standard- which is to simplify the configuration of security.
