Hitachi introduced a new hard drive 2TB. This is the third (after Seagate and Western Digital) manufacturer to introduce a hard disk with a capacity of 2TB. This new model will be branded Deskstar 2TB HD32000IDK7 and is a 2 TB disk in 7200 rpm. The drive is equipped with 32 MB cache and a SATA connector 3 Gbit / s. It is still unknown to many dishes the way will be present in the drive, but it is more likely 500 GB with four others. JR.com 's description states that this disc is the most efficient in it's class, which means a reduction in heat production as well.
Hitachi HDD 2TB HD32000IDK7 has integrated protection against impact and costs about $ 270 USD. This price is declining in some other manufacturers release 2 TB drives. During the Computex earlier this year, Hitachi already indicated they expected to release the hard drives of 750 GB flat later this year. This could mean that 3 TB (four trays of 750 GB) discs could be introduced as soon as well.
